Had anyone told me on graduation day, 34 years ago I'd be married with three wonderful, grown and married children and two grandchildren. Be 2 1/2 years away from RETIREMENT at 55 years of age from good old NASD. Or that I'd have waded in every ocean in the world as well as hunted in 11 different countries. I would have laughed.
It's been a hoot and gone way too fast. I can hardly believe it myself!

Has it been 10 years since I wrote the above? WOW! Time does indeed buzz by. Let me update a bit.
Karen and I celebrated 25 yrs of marriage this past Sept 4, with a cruise to New England. We now have a total of 6 grandchildren ages 2 thru 18 the oldest a Marine headed for Syria as I type this. Karen and I both are retired me since January 2011. I split my time between living in Moore Township and my farm in Potter county, Pa. . My main hobby is still hunting an to date it is something like 12 states a dozen countries and 6 continents I have chased game on. I have swam in every ocean in the world. But the single achievement I have gained that may be a surprise to many whom knew me back in high school... I am now an ordained pastor! I attended theology classes at Gettysburg college after retirement from NASD.
Nov.2021...Bit of an update. I retired from NASD in January 2011, then again from the clergy in 2018 only to be recalled back into the clergy twice since. As 2021 nears to a close I am going to retire once more after calendar Christmas.
My bride and I split our free time between our home in Klecknersville and our property in Potter county in northern Pa. .
At an age when many are content to "watch from the sidelines" Karen and I remain very active with our past times. Though I sold my last Harley this past spring it was replaced with a sxs utv for our use up north on the property.
Gosh can it be possible, we whom read this roamed the halls of NASD almost 50 years ago? When did we become the "old people sitting on lawn chairs at the picnic"?
