Comments:

Great Reunion, wasn't it? Thank you to ALL of the people who had a part in this huge monumental undertaking! That was a great job, WELL DONE!!! I've been very busy in Maine since moving here from Bangor PA. in March of 1982. I've been a Physician Assistant since graduating from Penn State- Hershey Medical School's Physician Assistant Program in March of 1980. I passed my National Board Certifying/Licensing exam that year and continue to re-board every six years. I also must log 100 hours of continuing medical educational activity every two years, 50 must be category I. Imaging me paying attention long enough to get through all this chaos when the urge to clown around is still SOOO GREAT!! I'll admit as I age my attention span is starting to wane a bit! I've been employed as a PA-C in family medicine in the early years, then worked in orthopedic surgery & sports medicine for about 15 years. Then I became bored with that, and worked in the emergency department setting for about 8 years and almost totally burnt myself to a crisp! Currently ,I'm employed in a Rheumatology & Osteoporosis practise with two Rheumatologists. We treat Rheumatoid , Osteoarthritis & other autoimmune diseases. Boy, talk about a HUGE gray area of medicine, I seem to have found nebulosity for sure! To keep my ER skills up, I work per diem in an emergency department and at Sunday River ski area's ER/clinic taking care of musculoskeletal trauma. In my spare time , I love to road bike, hike, and downhill/xc ski. I really love the work I do and this makes the time fly past sooo quickly -- faster & faster with each passing year. I think we all feel this way! I just wish we could just slow down our / the biologic time clock ticking away in our DNA- genetic program... you would have thought the Newhart twins or Yosty would have unraveled this mystery by now! Well, enough rambling for now, enjoy life, live long, good health, laugh often and prosper. Jerry Hussar

School Story:

Melvin Kleppingers art classes , Mr. Reed's disappearing portable black board, Mr Bennett's substitute everything classes, throwing handfulls of chalk or whatever at people walking through the halls, animal noises in the classes/ study hall/ hallways, Gobers Corner-- throwing corn at cars & cop cars, parties up on the blue mtn appalachian trail area? GEEZE! need I say more? It's a wonder we graduated! BUT WAS IT FUN!!!! THE Bob Nemeth Basketball era/ games-- wow was that way INTENSE!! BUT FUN!!! BYE BYE
