Leo Blum

Leo T. Blum, 54, of Catasauqua, previously of Allentown and Danielsville, died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at home. Born in Allentown, on November 22, 1955, he was a son of the late Stanley V., Sr. and Lois (Jones) Blum. He was a graduate of Northampton High School class of 1973. Leo was presently working for CTS Cement of Lower Nazareth Township for the past four years. Previously, he worked for the Bethlehem Steel Co., Bethlehem Plant as well as the Sparrows Point Plant in Maryland for more than 25 years. Leo enjoyed repairing and restoring older automobiles. Survivors: He is survived by a daughter, Angela N. Blum; and a son, Leo T. Blum, II both of Reading; two brothers, Charles J. Blum of Danielsville and Paul M. Blum of Whitehall; two sisters, Lois H. Moll and her husband Robert, Sr. of Catasauqua and Miriam M. Tumbach and her husband, James of Allentown; three grandchildren, Skyler N. Blum, Alexie M. Blum, and Xavier J. Blum; former wife, Theresa (Prokopovich) Schwartz of Reading; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers, Stanly, Jr., Raymond L.,Sr., Daniel E., Joseph D. and Melvin Blum as well as a sister, Roberta M. Green.
