John F. "Pop-Pop" Paukovits, 66 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem, PA. after being stricken at his home. Born June 10, 1954 in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late William P. Paukovits and Helen E. (Herschman) Paukovits. He was the husband of Pattiann (Hoffman) Paukovits with whom he shared 43 years of marriage this past October 22, 2020.

John was employed as a Truckdriver / Laborer for Austin Powder - Maurer & Scott, Inc., Northampton, PA for 23 years until retiring this past June. He was a former member of several men's dart leagues at the Northampton Catholic War Veterans Club, St. Peter & Paul Sick & Beneficial Society, and the Lappawinzo Rod & Gun Club. He was an active supporter of the Northampton Area Wrestling Club and Boosters Club. Some of John's favorite past times were playing horseshoes and fishing and sharing that knowledge with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving along with his wife Pattiann are son, John F. Paukovits, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Danielsville, PA, daughter, Dr. Janel L. Paukovits wife of Dr. Jonathan Hue of Cleveland, OH, brother, William P. Paukovits and wife Rosann of Walnutport, PA, sister, Mrs. Nancy Helwig of Wescoesville, PA; 3 Grandchildren: Evan, Addison, and Jaxson.

Future celebration of life services will be announced. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067 has been entrusted with his care and arrangements.
