Wayne L. Fehnel, 61, of Whitehall passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 after a seven and half month battle with Central Nervous System Lymphoma at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, surrounded by his wife and sons. Wayne and wife, Maryann (Tessitore) Fehnel, celebrated 38 years of marriage on July 8th. Born May 26, 1955 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Charles and Ruth (Lahr) Fehnel. Wayne was the owner of a landscaping business for many years. He was a dedicated coach for Northampton AA baseball, football, and basketball and Fullerton legion baseball. Wayne also was an assistant varsity baseball coach for Dieruff High School in Allentown. Survivors: besides his loving wife, Maryann and mother, Ruth; sons, Brent and his wife, Jennifer and Jonathan and his wife, Lynsey; grandchildren, Brandon, Max, Jake and Lucy; siblings, Frank, Barbara, Robert, Timothy and Lisa. Services: Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 7th at 1:30 p.m. in Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 4th St., Catasauqua.
